Summary

• Dr. Monika Mathur spent 10 years training for expertise in Neurology, Sleep and Pediatric Medicine. Following an honors undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in bio-psycology and cognition, she immediately went to medical school. She thought that medicine combines the best of what she loves- helping people, science & working with cute children!
  
  After medical education training, she began residency & fellowship training at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) for neurology at the Children's Hospital of Orange County. She completed a secondary fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Mathur is also a trained hatha yoga teacher and can work with patients that seek to understand how to complement professional medicine with tradition based physical culture.
  
  Dr. Mathur currently takes new patients and followups at Miller's Children's Hospital at the Stramski Children's Development Center. She see's patients in the Behavioral Neurodevelopment Program, Pediatric Sleep Clinic, and is the Medical Director of the Craniofacial Program.
