Overview of Dr. Moise

I am a general internist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. After obtaining my BA from Princeton University, I received my MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed my internship, residency and general medicine fellowship at New York Presbyterian-Columbia. I have expertise in epidemiology, implementation science, and cost-effectiveness research. My program of research has focused on depression collaborative care and hypertension guideline implementation and my current research aims to identify innovative approaches to reducing clinical inertia and improving physician and patient engagement and behaviors around depression and cardiovascular disease management in primary care settings with a high burden of psychosocial barriers. I was recently awarded an National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) Investigative Research Supplement to assess physician acceptability, barriers, and opportunities for depression screening and treatment, including telemedicine, following acute coronary syndromes and am a coinvestigator on an AHRQ hypertension guideline implementation grant
