Summary

• Nazila Shagagi is a NCCPA Board Certified Physician Assistant. Her initial career was in Respiratory Therapy having received her bachelor d’s degree from UTMB at Galveston. She had worked at Texas Children’s Hospital Pediatric and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Units for ten years. Nazila then continued her education as a Physician Assistant at Duke University graduating in 2005. She joined the Neurocritical Care Department at University of Texas where she continued for nine years as a core member of the team. She has educated numerous Physician Assistants in the management of critical care patients and on the competencies of completing numerous procedures. She is currently holding the position of VP of Quality and Clinical Operations at iDoc Telehealth Solution, Division of Tele-critical care.
