  • Dr. Warres is now in a full-time private practice in Pikesville, Maryland, combining outpatient psychotherapy with psychopharmacology. He was Chief of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland's Shock Trauma Center for 20 years – in addition to being Chief of Psychiatry at Kernan Hospital and Montebello Hospital. His interests include treating anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder and depression. In addition (because of his Shock Trauma and Kernan experience) he has considerable experience in treating individuals with psychiatric problems related to medical illness and physical injury. He believes psychotherapy with a psychiatrist is often very beneficial, and enjoys seeing patients for combined psychotherapy and psychiatric medication management – as warranted for each individual. His solo practice is located in Pikesville, one block from Reisterstown Road.
