Overview of Dr. Watnik

Neil Watnik, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon based in Greenvale, NY with subspecialties in hip and knee reconstructive, orthopedic sports medicine, orthopedic trauma, and shoulder surgery. He received his MD from the New York Medical College in 1986 and completed his internship and residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, followed by a fellowship at NYU Grossman School of Medicine/Hospital for Joint Diseases. Dr. Watnik served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He has experience in area such as sports medicine, knee arthroscopy, foot and ankle surgery, ankle arthroscopy, and shoulder surgery and has published works on diverse surgical topics. Dr. Watnik is also a multi-award-winning educator, including multiple 'Teacher of the Year' recognitions from Long Island Jewish Medical Center Dept Orthopedic Surgery and the Leslie Sgaglione Humanism Award.
