Summary

  • I am passionate about the long-term care and relationship I strive to build with my patients suffering from Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) which includes Crohn's disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Microscopic colitis, and Indeterminate colitis. I have specific interests in quality care measures in IBD, the role of nutrition and gut microbiota in human illness & health, and medical interactive gaming. I became a clinician educator because of my passion for life-long learning and my interest in educating the next generation of young physicians. In my clinical practice I strive to learn something new every day from my patients and my housestaff so that I can improve the quality of the care I deliver.
