Summary
- I am a former assistant professor of neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and past president of the American Academy of Pain Management. I have published four books, 34 medical textbook chapters and 71 articles, mostly on chronic pain diagnosis and treatment. My colleagues and I at Johns Hopkins Hospital have published articles showing that 40%-80% of chronic pain patients are misdiagnosed, so we developed a diagnostic paradigm, which is available over the Internet at www.MarylandClinicalDiagnostics.com. or www.DiagnoseThePains.com, When completed, it gives diagnoses with a 96% correlation with diagnoses of Johns Hopkins Hospital physicians.
