Summary

• I am a board certified internist experienced in managing complex patients with multiple chronic medical conditions like Diabetes, Hypertension, COPD, Coronary diseases, Heart failure, Kidney failure, arthritis etc.
  I completed my training in John H Stroger Hospital in Chicago in 2000. and have been practicing as a primary care provider in several high volume urban and suburban clinics. Teaching residents and medical students has also been an enriching part of my growth as a clinician and mentor. Working with most vulnerable populations, I have learned that empathy and ability to connect with patients on the personal level are just as important as medical expertise in achieving positive health outcomes. Therefore I was able to build a very busy practice and achieve high patient satisfaction and retention rates.
  As a Medical director I helped with implementation of EMR, monitored provider productivity and quality of patient care, worked on Quality Improvement projects and various other initiatives.
