She completed her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medicine in 2004, followed by a surgical residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital and a fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology at John Wayne Cancer Institute. Dr. Kapoor has served as Medical Director at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center and as a surgeon at Cedars-Sinai. Her expertise includes breast ultrasound, oncoplastic surgery, and postpartum breast cancer. She has published several papers, including those on the impact of screening mammography and circulating tumor DNA detection. Dr. Kapoor has participated in clinical trials related to breast cancer therapies and has received several certifications and honors. At UCLA, she serves as the Director of Breast Surgical Skills and Innovation.
