Summary

  • I have fifteen years helping people facing mental health and life challenges as an ANCC certified adult psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner. What do I get out of it? Caring for patients provides me the opportunity to participate in meaningful and purposeful work that makes a positive difference in people's lives and in this world. I have treated people with mental health and behavioral disorders across the spectrum of disorders. I have extensive experience using electronic health records and electronic prescribing. I have an active DEA certificate for prescribing controlled medications; active Texas advanced nurse practitioner license; and an active ANCC board certification for adult psychiatric mental health practice. I am a continuous learner promoting competency and best practice. Have good days. Norm
