Overview of Patricia Lawrence
Over 37 years of healthcare experience in multiple specialties and in a wide variety of environments all over the United States. She earned a master’s degree from the University of Colorado to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed a post-master’s certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is also certified as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. She worked as a Public Health Nurse for seven years on the Navajo Reservation. She is currently providing Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Services through telehealth through Brightside of Michigan, LLC, and La Lune Integrative Psychiatry, PLLC. She moves people away from suffering and towards a higher level of well-being. All this is achieved through techniques that expand consciousness and awareness, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical tolerance distress tools, positive psychology techniques, stress management, assertiveness skills, experiential learning, mindfulness cognitive therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, clinical hypnotherapy, and the use of prescription psychiatric medications.
