Overview of Dr. Mangonon
I am a Board Certified Cardiothoracic surgeon and have been in clinical practice in Florida for 20 years. Over this time frame, I have developed a specific and unique expertise in minimally invasive cardiac and thoracic surgery. I have also developed a broad experience in VV and VA ECMO therapy/management. Recently, I have also utilized the newest surgically implantable high flow IMPELLA catheter as adjuctive therapy for high risk cardiac surgery patients.
I am currently utilizing my skillset and experience in the prestigious Advent Health Daytona Beach Cardiothoracic Surgery program. I am pleased to be a part of a cohesive surgical practice that is dedicated to delivering the highest quality outcomes after heart or lung cancer surgery.
