Summary

  • I am a fellowship-trained hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgeon in Portland, Oregon. As a surgeon-scientist my lab focuses on rapid metastatic recurrence of pancreatic cancer after surgical resection. I have a deep interest in all aspects of pancreatic disease, benign and malignant. I am particularly interested in engaging surgical trainees in bench and translational research and in making surgery a more diverse and equitable environment. I live in Portland with my husband and two daughters and when not operating or in the lab enjoy gardening, running, skiing, and cooking.
