Summary

  • I am an academic upper GI and bariatric surgeon recently retired from active clinical practice but maintaining a major interest in medical humanities especially History of Medicine and Medical Ethics and Medical Education. I qualified from medical school and did residency in Northern Ireland and Melbourne, Australia, then was affiliated with Keck School of Medicine at USC in Los Angeles for almost 30 years.
