Peter Lawrence Dixon MD

• Peter Dixon, MD, is a Maryland based general surgeon practicing in the greater Baltimore and Annapolis area. He is a partner at Surgical Associates of Annapolis and works out of Ascension Saint Agnes Hosptial as well as several local ambultory surgery centers, while also serving as faculty at Johns Hopkins University since 2020. Dr. Dixon completed his General Surgery residency at DHR Health, an afiliate of the University of Houston, as well as a clinical fellowship in General and Acute Care Surgery from Mount Sinai. He is a memeber of the American College of Surgeons and the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma. Additional educational credentials include degrees from Johns Hopkins University, UMDNJ Graduate School of Biomedical Science, and New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Dixon's clinical experience includes robotic and laparoscopic surgery, hernias, biliary disease, common bile duct exploration, benign and malignant disease of the alimentary tract, and bowel obstruction. Published works include contributions to chapters in Cameron's Current Surgical Therapy as well as journals such as Clinical Gastroenterology.
