He earned his MD and completed OB/GYN residency training at Baylor College of Medicine and completed fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery in Rochester, New York at the Women’s Continence Center of Greater Rochester. His clinical focus includes pelvic organ prolapse, stress urinary incontinence, overactive bladder and other bladder dysfunction, fecal incontinence, and management of complications after prior pelvic surgery, including mesh-related issues. He offers individualized care ranging from conservative therapies to vaginal, laparoscopic, and robotic reconstructive surgery, as well as menopause care and hormone replacement therapy for women and men. Dr. Lotze previously served as Director of the Fellowship in Urogynecology at The Women’s Pelvic Restorative Center and as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UTHealth Houston. He has held leadership roles at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas, including Chairman of the Department of Surgery and Credentialing Committee Chair, and helped the hospital achieve the nation’s first Center of Excellence designation from the National Association for Continence. He has contributed to the peer-reviewed literature, including publications in the International Urogynecology Journal and Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery, and has been named a Texas Super Doctor (2020–2025).
