  • Dr. Peter Millett is an internationally renown orthopedic surgeon in practice in Vail, CO. He is a partner and Chief Medical Officer at the Steadman Clinic. He specializes in shoulder, knee, and elbow surgery and sports medicine. He is Director of Shoulder Surgery and was previously the Co-director fo the Shoulder Service at Harvard, where he held a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School and worked at Massachusetts General and Brigham & Women's Hospitals. He graduated from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and trained at The Hospital for Special Surgery in Nwe York. Dr. Millett is an internationally recognized expert in sports medicine, shoulder, knee and elbow surgery. He has trained over 200 fellows, has over 400 peer reviewed publications, over 100 patents, and has treated elite athletes from the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, PGA, Formula 1 and the Olympics. Dr. Millett has consisitently been selected as one of the Top Doctors in America by Castle Connelly and has been ranked in the top 1% of Orthopaedic Surgeons nationally by US News & World Reports. He serves on the boards of Geisel Medical School at Dartmouth, the Vail Health Foundation, and the US Ski and Snowboard Association.
