Summary

  • I have lived and worked as a general internist in Grants Pass, Oregon since 1990. I cofounded the ethics committee at the local hospital more than 25 years ago, I sit on the board of the local hospice, and for 10 years have done volunteer work in East Africa. I will finish my private practice in 2016 and will continue my volunteer work in Africa as a member of humanitarian response efforts primarily in refugee settings. My wife, Carey Brown, is a family physician who works with me and our son, Ben, is a Duke Med School student. He will graduate in 2017.
