  • Phoebe Cushman is board certified in both Addiction Medicine and General Internal Medicine; she has completed a M.S. in Health Services Research as well as fellowships in Medical Education and Addiction Medicine. Her 20 years of Primary Care experience have informed her expertise in substance use disorders, opioids, and chronic pain. She currently works as Physician Lead for the Opioid Treatment Program and new Hub-and-Spoke Office Based Addiction Treatment at Spectrum Health Systems in Framingham, MA. She also serves on the Massachusetts Medical Society’s Committee on Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders. In addition to her clinical background, her training in public health and medical education have allowed her to dedicate her career toward serving vulnerable individuals, transforming healthcare systems to improve access to addiction services, and teaching trainees, colleagues, and the public about substance use disorders.
