Summary

• Dr. McCullough graduated with honors from Brown University with a degree in biology, where he was elected a member of Sigma Xi. After a year working at the Harvard School of Public Health's Channing Laboratory at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, he obtained his medical degree from Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Dr. McCullough then completed an internship in Family Medicine at the Naval Hospital Jacksonville and served in the United States Navy as a Flight Surgeon. After his tour of duty, Dr. McCullough completed a residency in anesthesiology at the Mayo Clinic - Jacksonville and relocated to his current practice with West Georgia Anesthesia Associates in Carrollton, Georgia, where he served as the Clinical Chief of Anesthesia from 2015-17 and currently serves as the Chief Anesthesiologist and Medical Director of Anesthesia Services. Dr. McCullough has a particular interest in regional anesthesia and the use of ultrasound in the placement of peripheral nerve blocks. Dr. McCullough is originally from Ohio and also speaks Spanish.
