Summary

• I am a Clinical Professor of Medicine at NYU Langone Health in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism. I see patients at NYU Lake Success and am actively involved in medical education.
  
  I am the Co-Chair of the International Society for Clinical Densitometry's Annual Meeting. I previously served on the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists Board of Directors 2016-2022 and was Chair of the American College of Cardiology's Diabetes Collaborative Registry (DCR) StakeHolder Committee.
  
  I am a co-author on the ATA Clinical Practice Guidelines for Hypothyroidism which is ongoing, and have served on numerous prior guidelines including AACE's Postmenopausal Osteoporosis Guidelines, Clinical Practice Guidelines for Developing a Diabetes Comprehensive Care Plan and Obesity Guidelines. I have lectured nationally and internationally, published numerous articles, and
  media appearances.
  
  I recently co-edited the book "Endocrine Disorders During Pregnancy" with Dr Maria Papaleontiou, published by Endocrinology & Metabolism Clinics of North America in September 2024.
  
  My interests are bone, metabolism, pregnancy-related endocrine issues, and thyroid disease.
