Summary

  • I am a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at NYU Langone in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism. I see patients at NYU Lake Success and am actively involved in medical education.

    I am the Vice Chair of the International Society for Clinical Densitometry's Annual Meeting. I previously served on the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists Board of Directors 2016-2022 and was Chair of the American College of Cardiology's Diabetes Collaborative Registry (DCR) StakeHolder Committee.

    I am a co-author on the AACE 2020 Clinical Practice Guidelines for Postmenopausal Women with Osteoporosis and AACE 2015 Clinical Practice Guidelines for Developing a Diabetes Comprehensive Care Plan. I have lectured nationally and internationally and published numerous articles and chapters. I co-edited the book "Endocrine Disorders During Pregnancy" with Dr Lois Jovanovic, published by Endocrinology & Metabolism Clinics of North America and am currently serving as an editor for the 2024 Update.

    My interests are metabolic bone, pregnancy-related endocrine issues, and thyroid disease and I perform ultrasound guided thyroid biopsies.
