Summary
- After Pediatrics and Pediatric Neurology residencies from India, I moved to U.S. for a clinical fellowship in Epilepsy from Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Subsequently, I joined as a faculty member in the same institution.
I take care of children with epilepsy, particularly those with drug-resistant epilepsy who require epilepsy surgery.
I have diverse research interests and have led investigator initiated clinical trials in the past. For last few years, I have been trying to develop a new methodology for language mapping in children undergoing invasive pre-surgical evaluation with implanted subdural electrodes, using a spontaneous, task-free approach. I am also involved as a co-investigator with the CAE study and pSERG group.
