- I am a board certified psychiatrist specializing in serious and persistent mental illness, trained in Buprenorphine, and licensed in the state of New York. I specialize in working with homeless populations and public psychiatry. I was formally the Medical Director for Psychiatry with Project Renewal, supervising psychiatrists and psychiatric NPs delivering care in NYC DHS shelter clinics. I was formerly Assistant Director for Inpatient Psychiatric Services at Bellevue Hospital Center and a Unit Chief on 18W, having been a Unit Chief in Inpatient Psychiatry for almost 10 years. I was an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at NYU Medical School, teaching and supervising residents and medical students in psychiatry. I am a Distinguished Fellow of the APA and the NYCPS District Branch Representative to the APA
