  • Dr. Rehan Aziz was born and raised in NJ. He graduated from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. He completed a residency in General Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, CT and a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is board-certified in psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and behavioral neurology/neuropsychiatry. Dr. Aziz is currently Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Neurology at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine in Nutley, NJ. He is also Associate Program Director for both the General Psychiatry Residency and Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship Programs at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He has presented at several organization’s national meetings including the American Psychiatric Association (APA), the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry (AAGP), and American Association of Directors of Psychiatry Residency Training (AADPRT). He has been published in Psychosomatics, BJPsych Open, Academic Psychiatry, and Psychiatric Clinics of North America. He is a member of the editorial board for The Carlat Report Geriatric Psychiatry. Dr. Aziz has been inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, nominated to the Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS), and has won three teaching awards.
