  • Dr. Ricardo Febry is board-certified in Internal Medicine with over 30 years of experience in ambulatory, emergency, inpatient, geriatric, and end-of-life care. He earned his BS in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico, an MSc in Comparative Physiology from the University of Miami, and his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine training at Tulane University in 1994.

    After years of primary care practice in New Orleans, Dr. Febry founded Internal Medicine Consultants LLC in 2002 to serve hospitals and long-term care facilities, and co-founded Hospice Associates of New Orleans (HANO) in 2004 to serve those facing terminal illness. In 2023, he rebranded HANO into Care Associates in 2023, focusing on integrated care for elderly, home-bound people, including medical visits, case management, serious illness advance care planning, and hospice and palliative care.
