• Dr. Richard Shorter is a dedicated family medicine physician based in Princeton, WV. He completed his medical education and residency at Ohio Valley Medical Center and Charleston Area Medical Center/CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine respectively. He graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 1986. He was employed as an emergency medicine physician at Thomas Memorial Hospital in South Charleston, WV from 1989-1994. He entered private practice as a family physician at Mountain State Family Practice in Peterstown, WV in 1994. He joined the Monroe Health Center in Peterstown, WV in 2000.
