Dr. Nelson is a Professor of Otolaryngology and Neurosurgery at Indiana University Health. Dr. Nelson is the Medical Co-Director of the IU Health’s Skull Base Surgery Program. Nelson has published numerous articles on acoustic neuromas and spontaneous CSF leaks. He has treated over 700 skull base tumors, where he specializes in facial nerve preservation and hearing preservation. In addition, he specializes in hearing restoration through cochlear implantation.
