- Dr. Risa (Small) Wolf is a pediatric endocrinologist based in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Wolf received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, after which she attended the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where she graduated with Distinction in Research, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her pediatric residency at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, followed by a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Wolf is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and the Director of the Pediatric Diabetes Program at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is an NIH funded investigator with research focused on using innovative technologies to improve outcomes in pediatric diabetes. Dr. Wolf has contributed to many publications on artificial intelligence and diabetes, among other topics, and is engaged in clinical trials focusing on diabetes technology use in youth with Type 1 Diabetes. She is a core faculty member of the Hopkins Business of Health Initiative (HBHI) at the Carey School of Business and co-leads a monthly webinar series on AI on healthcare. She has been recognized as a Top Doctor for several years in a row.
