Summary
- I have been on the faculty at UC Davis since 2003 practicing hand surgery. My current position is Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, somewhat of a misnomer because my training was the American Board of Surgery through which I have a CAQ in surgery of the hand. Prior to that I practiced adult cardiac surgery for 23 years before taking a medical retirement due to lower extremity venous insufficiency. I am nearing the end of my career and I am interested in exploring new options for the next several years before retirement. I am looking for a private practice with a good support system where I will be able continue to practice clinical surgery. My expertise is hand surgery including hand trauma, microvascular surgery, and fractures of the forearm, wrist, and hand. My focus would be to find a situation where my skills were needed and valued.
