Summary

• I have been a qualified child and adolescent psychiatrist sinner 1981. I have been the medical director of a long term residential treatment center 1982-1991) in the Austin area. I also created a trauma treatment inpatient unit for children ages 6-12 at a local hospital. I was the Medical Director of an adult trauma unit in the Austin area also. For the last 25 years I have been in outpatient private practice in Austin.
  I was the child psychiatry consultant for a 6 county area for Child Protective Services from 1981-1985.
  A goal I have not yet pursued in my career is working with the parents of newborns to promote healthy attachments.
