- I am a full time Emergency Medicine physician with twenty one years of practice experience in this specialty. I came to E.M. from a background of General Surgery (residency and fellowship trained) with nearly fifteen years of solo private practice experience prior to morphing myself into an Emergency Medicine physician. I have worked in a diverse set of emergency department environments from urban to rural, high volume to low volume, and high acuity to low acuity.
I have found a niche in suburban and rural hospitals with limited specialty back up and volumes ranging from under 10,000 to 25,000 annual visits.
I do not work in urgent care facilities nor correctional facilities.
