- Board certified in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases (ID), and Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine. Broad work experience, including internationally and in multiple states in varied settings which offered basis in areas of expertise as well as Medical Ethics, Utilization Management, CDI, Complex discharge, Emergency Care, and Oncologic Emergencies.
Other experiences offered basis in different facets of austere medicine including Wilderness Medicine, Disaster and Humanitarian Response, and Inner City Medicine and Urban Survival.
Developed and directed an institutional remote triage program for Oncology patients with the aim of streamlining and expediting care. Currently developing familiarity and knowledge of AI (Artificial Intelligence). Considering models utilizing AI for improving access to high quality care for populations such as geriatrics, rural populations, and other populations who are not yet part of the AI focus or who are under-served.
