- Roger J. Hartman, MD, FACP is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. He completed his residency and Chief Residency in Internal Medicine at Atlantic Health System/Morristown Medical Center from 1985 to 1989 after graduating from UMDNJ--New Jersey Medical School in 1985.
He is a Partner Emeritus in the Southern California Permanente Medical Group working out of the South Bay Medical Center. During his Partnership he served as Chief of Internal Medicine and also as an elected director on the SCPMG Board of Directors. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine, where he serves as a Clinical Assessment Specialist.
He has been recognized for his work with several awards, including the Diabetes Recognition Program from the NCQA at multiple intervals and the Heart/Stroke Recognition Program, also from the NCQA. Additionally, he received the Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
