Overview of  Dr. Johnson

I am a Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the Associate Dean of Student Affairs in the O'Donnell School of Public Health at UT Southwestern Medical Center. I hold the Beth and Marvin "Cub" Culbertson Professorship in Pediatric Otolaryngology. I specialize in pediatric aerodigestive disorders, pediatric voice, and pediatric tracheostomy and airway reconstruction.

I serve as the Director of the Quality and Safety Program for the Department of Otolaryngology at UT Southwestern and the Director of the Pediatric Voice and Swallowing Clinic at Children's Medical Center. I am also a member of the Children's Health Airway Management Program (CHAMP) member. CHAMP provides multidisciplinary care for children with complex airway disorders like tracheostomy, subglottic stenosis, and laryngeal clefts.

I am also the Program Director for the MD/MPH Program for the School of Public Health.
