Roman Magid, DO (Magid rhymes with “good deed”) is originally from Chicago’s northern suburbs. After graduating Knox College in Galesburg, IL, he went on to complete medical school at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downer’s Grove. He then took an internship in the Internal Medicine department at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. Afterward, Dr. Magid completed residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital in Chicago, where he served as the chief resident in his final year.

Reducing disability and increasing functional ability is Dr. Roman Magid’s focus. This includes managing conditions such as chronic pain, neuromuscular conditions, musculoskeletal issues, spasticity, and more. He is committed to goal-oriented collaboration with his patients, in order to create the environment in which the body, mind, and spirit will heal.
