Summary
- I am a practicing neurologist in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Although my practice is rewarding, I have the desire to do more. I want to provide a broader impact in healthcare for patients. I plan to work in a different area of the healthcare arena as I transition from my clinical responsibilities to full time administrative work.
The areas of interest include The use of AI in medicine, the impact of free market insurance in helping to improve the quality of care in urban, suburban and rural populations, medication delivery systems to shut in populations and improvement in the overall quality of care which can be provided to both rural and urban populations.
These areas of interest reflect the problems which impact both the healthcare provider and the patient daily.
My qualifications ( having worked in all different settings in urban, suburban and rural areas) provide an opportunity to utilize a skill set that non-medical administrators lack. My research experience at The NIH enhances my abilities to view the delivery of healthcare in this country with a more global perspective.
I know that I can help to make a substantial difference in the lives of all patients in this next chapter of my career.
