  • Currently, I work full-time for the Cardiac Electrophysiology Unit within the Cardiology Division at University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) Medical Center & Clements University Hospital in Dallas, Texas. I am a key member of the healthcare team; a mid-level advanced practice provider that liaisons with UTSW Medical School Faculty/Physicians, Fellows/Residents/Interns who are rotating through the Service, and the clinical nursing team for coordination of patient care. I have in the past worked as Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse [Practitioner] First Assistant (RNFA) in the Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery Department at both Parkland Health & Hospital System (PHHS) and UTSW due to a unique shared services contractual relationship between PHHS & UTSW.
    Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and a Registered Nurse (RN) in State of Texas with prescriptive authority and Board Certified as both, an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) and also as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
