Summary

• As an otolaryngology nurse practitioner I am responsible for evaluating and treating patients in a clinical setting. These patients include new consults, peri-operative patients, and emergency room and urgent care follow ups. I see general otolaryngology patients; with a focus on otology and neurotology cases. I utilize the following skill sets frequently while in clinic: binocular otomicroscopy, flexible laryngoscopy, rigid nasal endoscopy, mastoid and external ear canal debridement, tracheostomy tube changes, intratympanic injections, myringotomy, myringotomy with pneumatic ear tube placement, tracheoesophageal voice prosthesis changes.
