- I am a PGY-2 in Internal Medicine at East Carolina University/Brody School of Medicine, with an interest in pursuing a fellowship in Cardiology. I graduated from St. George's University School of Medicine Class in 2023 and received a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Biology with a minor in Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies from Furman University (2016). Also, I am nationally registered paramedic and have an Associate's Degree in Emergency Medical Sciences from Catawba Valley Community College. I have multiple volunteering experiences in various aspects, specifically working with refugees. I volunteered in a teaching and medical capacity in the Zaatari Syrian Refugee Camp, in Jordan. I am a Syrian-American, therefore this opportunity was much more than a chance to help others in need.
