• Samson Chan, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon based in Chicago, IL, with over a decade of experience in surgical practice. He earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at Henry Ford Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Currently, Dr. Chan serves as the Chair of Surgery at Insight Chicago Hospital and Medical Center.
  
  
  
  His clinical expertise includes a broad range of procedures, with particular focus on benign skin and breast tumors, vein disease, endocrine and cosmetic surgery, and minimally invasive general/gastrointestinal surgery. In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Chan is passionate about medical education and serves as a volunteer Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine. He has also contributed to academic research, publishing studies on lymph node retrieval techniques in colorectal cancer, breast reconstruction, and T-lymphocyte responses in pediatric peanut allergies.
