Summary

  • I am family nurse practitioner in solo practice. As a nurse practitioner my expectation of patients is a baseline of wellness or shoot fo a goal of wellness. The ultimate goal for my patient's is happiness but since my role in their lives is only a advisor on health and healer of illness I cannot do that for them but make them aware of the choices that they have to reach that level. I am also a paid preceptor and recruit preceptors to place nurse practitioner students. The De Morgan Group has developed a precepting model whose goal is to standardized precepting. The Beverly Parsley Family Nurse Practitioner Precepting Model addresses the most common barriers to precepting nursing students. The De Morgan Group's goal is to solve the precepting crisis for our fellow nurse practitioners.
