Summary
- Dr. Sanober Amin is a board-certified dermatologist who earned her MD and PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics at University of Illinois at Chicago, and completed her dermatology residency at University of Minnesota. She practiced in St Paul and Bloomington, Minnesota for several years prior to her move to Texas, to be close to her family. Dr. Amin is a published author, awardee of numerous scholarships and awards, and has presented at several regional and national conferences, having received recognition at national level for her contribution to research in breast cancer. She was also recognized as Intern of the Year during her internship for her dedication and compassion for her patients. She is also a long time volunteer in her community having performed skin cancer screenings at health fairs, local hospitals and clinics, underserved communities as well as or Minnesota State Fair annually. She is a diplomat of American Academy of Dermatology and holds membership in many local and national organizations, including Texas Medical Association and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery dedicated to improving health and welfare of patients.
