Summary

• I love being a family physician.
  
  I get to see patients in all decades of life, from sweet newborn babies to elderly hospice patients.
  
  I especially enjoy taking care of women in their reproductive stage. I journey with them through fertility management, prenatal care, and their transition into motherhood.
  
  I teach a modern and evidence-based natural family planning method to couples interested in learning a healthy, natural and ethical way to achieve or avoid pregnancy.
  
  I round on patients in the local nursing homes here in Alamosa.
  
  I precept the family medicine residents of the Alamosa Rural Training Track program.
  
  I speak Spanish with my patients who are migrant workers and come to the San Luis Valley from as far as Guatemala.
  
  I am interested in the moral and appropriate use of AI within medicine, and I am passionate about optimizing lifestyle changes before prescribing meds.
  
  I have a special place in my heart for people with disabilities and special needs, and I would love to incorporate more of this focus into my practice some day.
  
  Superior to all of this, I am a wife to my wonderful husband and a mother to three beautiful young children. I’m so fortunate to spend half of my time at home raising these kiddos in their fleeting and formative years.
