Dr. Saurabh Chandan is a board certified Gastroenterologist specializing in Advanced Endoscopy. He earned his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine (Grenada, WI) following which he completed his Internal Medicine internship at the University at Buffalo (Buffalo, NY). He then went on to pursue his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (Omaha, NE). He served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Gastroenterology at Creighton University School of Medicine (Omaha, NE) before going on to pursue an additional year of Advanced Endoscopy fellowship at the world renowned Center for Interventional Endoscopy (CIE) Advent Health (Orlando, FL).
Dr. Chandan has authored over 200 peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals like Endoscopy, Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology (CGH) and American Journal of Gastroenterology, among others. His scientific contributions have won multiple awards at national and international gastroenterology conferences and have been cited over 3000 times. He is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and serves on the Editorial Boards of the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (GIE) Journal and Indian Journal of Gastroenterology (IJG).
