His professional experience includes faculty positions at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, the Stanford University School of Medicine, and the University of Chicago. He is an accomplished physician-scientist. He is also an educator in clinical and translational science spanning genomic and precision health, pharmacagenomics, clinical trials, meta-research, and nicotine and tobacco cessation interventions. Dr. David has authored more than 150 publications, with notable works covering polygenic risk scores and pharmacogenomics. He completed the James C. Puffer/American Board of Family Medicine/National Academy of Medicine Anniversary Fellowship, the American Board of Family Medicine LEADS Fellowship, and the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.
