Dr. Seth Krantz is a thoracic surgeon based in Evanston, IL, specializing in adult general thoracic surgery, minimally invasive thoracic surgery, and thoracic surgical oncology. He graduated from Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine in 2006 and completed his residency in surgery at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. He pursued his cardiothoracic fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. Currently, he is the Chief of Thoracic Surgery at Endeavor Health and a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Medicine. His work in thoracic surgery has been published in numerous respected journals within the field, and he is actively involved in clinical trials focused on lung cancer surgery quality outcomes and on genetic risk of lung cancer.
