Overview of Dr. Minton

I am a resident physician in the OBGYN residency training program at Beaumont Hospital in Farmington Hills, MI. I attended medical school at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, WA. I attended the University of Wyoming from 2006-2011 and Shepherds Theological Seminary from 2011-2012. After graduating from seminary, I worked in Laramie, WY as an Emergency Room Technician at Ivinson Memorial Hospital and then as a Scrub Technician at an orthopedic ambulatory surgical center until beginning medical school in 2015. These experiences helped me to develop a passion for patient-centered care and a desire to always approach patients with an osteopathic mindset. I am nearing my senior year of residency and am currently preparing to enter into the role of chief resident. I will be graduating residency in June 2023 and I am just now beginning to research potential OBGYN career opportunities.
