• Dr. Shania Flagg is a family physician in Fresno, CA. She received her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine and has been in practice 8 years. Prior to medical school, Dr. Flagg earned a graduate degree in Public Health, with a concentration in Global Health Policy and has completed several medical missions on three different continents and the Eastern Caribbean. After completing residency, Dr. Flagg completed fellowship training in Maternal Child Health/Obstetrics at UCSF Fresno, where she also joined as clinical faculty. Dr. Flagg currently holds a Regional Physician and Surgeon position for the California Correctional system and briefly held the position of Acting Chief Medical Executive at Central California Women's Facility. Dr. Flagg is currently Acting Chief Physician and Surgeon at Central California Women's Facility. She enjoys Correctional Medicine in the context of medical leadership and clinical support. Dr. Flagg has a special interest in Women's Health and Reproductive Rights,
  Breastfeeding Medicine, Diversity and Inclusion as well as mitigating unconscious bias among health care staff in order to optimize patient care and outcomes.
