Summary

  • I am devoted to research, patient care, and increasing access to Metabolic Psychiatry care for patients with serious mental illness. In 2015, I introduced the terminology to provide a common language amongst our global community of clinicians and researchers and to address an unwavering mission of addressing the intertwined epidemics of mental illness and metabolic dysfunction. In pursuit of this mission, we launched MetabolicPsychiatry.com, a resource tool to empower patients, families, and healthcare professionals with knowledge and support to confront unique challenges in this area. I am constantly exploring new avenues to grow, both personally and professionally, and love connecting with people who share similar passions and interests.
