Summary

  • I am a vascular surgeon, translational researcher, and an educator. My overarching research goal is to personalize health care for Individuals with genetically triggered vascular conditions associated with aortic/arterial dissections and aneurysms, and improve success of surgical repair and long term survival for these patients. Currently, I am investigating the effect of gene mutations on vascular disease by utilizing a collaborative multidisciplinary approach combining genetics and I surgical outcomes. I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of young surgeons and scientists.
